Played this as part of a 3 Free Indie Horrors. While it's not entirely bad, there are some questionable design choices that i address at the end of my video below. if you're looking for and in-depth review and honest feedback. I give just that.
A nice improvement over the first game of yours I played, Inheritance. I like that there were more mechanics pushing you towards your goal. I do think the sounds need to be louder, more prominent. But in some cases the total silence in some scares would work great. Just gotta find that balance. And of course the ending was quite surprising, so great work there too.
Really liked the style of the game despite the graphics being very simple. There were a few bugs with item text staying on screen even after you point away from it. Also, there is good build up for scares, but if you do things in the right way, there is never an actual scare.
This was pretty enjoyable! Very good for a quick game. Does all the right things to build up tension. I knew I could expect a good game from someone with the same first name as me! 😁 Here's my playthrough:

Janitor's Day is short, silly, and has a sliver of spook to it. Overall, it's a decent piece of work for something done in a week for a project.

it was okay. ending was unexpected but i feel like you could have made it scarier. hearing someone follow you is nerve racking but not scary
